Sunday March 19th, 2017 This Week in Life of Texac

Well, it's been a while since I posted here, so I figured it was about time. Today I went to the St. Eon Church for Confession and Communion. They do it a little different here in the Russian Orthodox Church. First, I had to fast Friday and Saturday. I could eat veggies, but no animal products. No milk, cheese, meat, butter. Simple fare only. And of course, no booze, smokin, cussin or foolin around. Sometimes 2 days can seem like 2 weeks...

This week we took the drone for a spin a couple of times. We got permission from MGB and Army and flew around Dobass Arena for a bit, and down by the Kalmius River. Still getting the camera dialed in, but if flies like a bird.

made a vid with Baikal, my old pal from XAH Bn. He was a Staff Officer when I was there, and one of my best friends. He lived 20 years in Luganskaya (not Lugansk) near Debaltsevo, until the nazis seized the town. He lost his home and 2 businesses, moved to Donetsk and joined the NAF. His story is interesting and heart-rending. It will be published next week as the next Donbass With Texac vid.

On Saturday, Father Boris and I, along with EoT film crew went to a kid's wrestling match in Kirovsky District, at a sports club we sponsor. Thanks to all who have pitched in for the kids - Donbass Human Aid, Spendaktionen fur Novorussia and all individual contributors. We will post a vid about the match and the club soon.

Had a good evening with Abdullah and Alfonzo, two of the guys I was on the Russia 1 TV program "Special Correspondent" with. It was a HUGE show, estimated 50 million viewers. Thanks to Sahsa Sladkov and the Russia 1 crew for a really cool show!

Still waiting on my DPR passport, hope to have it by the end of the month. Ukrop trolls are still trying to block our funding channels, but we are way smarter than they are. We have a way (semi-secret as of now, email for details if you want to pitch in - ). Once I get my passport, I will go to Rostov and get everything done up right. But everything takes time...

Speaking of taking time, I am still working on my book about my 6 months as a soldier at the Front in the Donbass War. I'm about halfway through, but everyday life keeps popping up and interfering. Writing a book is real work, but it's gonna be a good one - a real life adventure and a tale of redemption, with some pretty funny (and scary) moments thrown in. I am working off the journal I kept while I was at the Front. Re-reading it, I realize I had already forgotten just how hard and dangerous the time at the Front really was. Many of my friends died there, many more got wounded. It truly is a miracle I lived and made it out OK. Thanks, to all my Guardian Angels! I will try to be worthy of your care!

So, today is a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon, perfect writing weather. Guess I'll get busy!

On the Death of Givi, and the Reaction to it

Here is very educational article by Ollie Richardson and Angelina Siard at Stalker Zone about the official ukrop propaganda response to the death of Givi today. As with the death of Motorola, I am hearing again the cries from cowards and fools who call themselves "comrades of Donbass" but parrot the official ukrop line about Givi being killed by Zaharchenko or "The Kremlin".
Fucking bullshit.

Notice that the so-called "comrades" make their critiques and insinuations (in most cases) from thousands of miles away. They talk shit, but have no real qualifications to even have an opinion, much less any actual skin in the game. Here is the opinion of someone here in Donbass, whose fate is joined with the people and soldiers here...
The loss of Givi is a sad and hard blow to all who care about Donbass and the fight against fascism, but it in no way signals our defeat. In fact, it is simply the desperate act of the of the Kiev regime in its final death throes. The people of Donbass have already won this war. We know it, and Givi knew it too. There will still be hard battles ahead, but we will win those too. As things stand today, the outcome of the war by the criminal Kiev regime and their fascist Western masters against Donbass can be seen. Donbass will stand, and the nazis in Ukraine will fall. It is now almost inevitable. Almost.

As long as Donald Trump does not meet with a "Lone Nut" or come down with a mysterious fatal "illness", and as long as the citizens and soldiers of Novorussia maintain their solidarity and commitment, the road to our goal of a free Donbass and de-nazified Ukraine is open and clear. Clinton and the war party have been defeated. The ukrop army has been too, and if the make a final desperate assault, thrown into the grinder by a mad and desperate Poroshenko, they will be annihilated. Annihilated. Leaving the road clear for the NAF to cleanse all of Ukraine from the nazi disease.
This latest crime, on the heels of the recent ukrop terror campaign, only strengthens the resolve of the mighty Donbass Resistance, the people and the soldiers, to defeat fascism once again and to bring the war criminals to justice. We know our history. We have not forgotten the last time nazis occupied Ukraine, and what it cost. When the final battle comes, it will be hard, it will be brutal, but we are ready.
We remember the the sacrifice, and the victory, of our Grandfathers. We remember Stalingrad, and the outcome of that battle. The nazis in Kiev, and in the West, and the cowards, traitors and idiots who sow discord in our ranks would be wise to do the same.
Our cause is just. Victory will be ours.

2017 started pretty quietly, but has heated up considerably. The situation remains very tense. Ukrop Army positions have been reinforced with troops, tanks, artillery and even 8 more Tochka-U missiles.
After the heavy attacks of the last week of January and culminating in the massive attacks of the night of Feb 2nd-3rd, it has been relatively quiet in Donetsk city center the last few days, though battles continue along the Front from Mariupol to Lugansk.

The latest series of provocations by Ukraine are a desperate last ditch effort by Poroshenko to draw the Novorussian Armed Forces (NAF) into a counter-attack. This has not occurred, and there are several good reasons why.

First, there are 100,000 ukrop nazi soldiers along the Front. Military doctrine dictates the need for 3 to 1 advantage to make a successful assault. NAF has about 30,000 soldiers on the Front. So, the situation remains static as long as we defend, but becomes suicidal if we attack. We value the lives of our soldiers and civilians, and we thirst for justice for the continued war crimes of Kiev regime, but we must think and act strategically. Our day will come.

It appears that Poroshenko's days are numbered. His political coalition requires 226 members, of which it had 223, and from which 11 have recently resigned, with more indicating that they soon will as well. With the loss of the coalition, snap elections for Ukraine Rada (parliament) must be held, before the currently scheduled elections in 2018. These 11 deputies are currently being threatened with prison if they do not retract their resignations.  Poroshenko wants to continue and escalate the war to prevent special elections from being called and held, because he would certainly lose. This is the "democracy" that Obama, Nuland, McCain and Maidan have brought to Ukraine. War in order to prevent elections...

Poroshenko has been kicked to the curb by the new US administration, and is being abandoned by his erstwhile EU "allies". This is a good start. Without massive military and economic support from the West, it is impossible to ever even imagine a ukrop victory in Donbass. Now, Poroshenko, like a cornered mad dog, is flailing about, chasing his tail and trying to salvage his political power, another impossibility.

He is not the least concerned about Donbass civilians being murdered on his orders, or even how many of his own soldiers are killed (approx. 100 in Avdeevka in the last week) when NAF artillery returns fire and destroys the ukrop artillery that is bombing residential areas. He knows an exit from the Presidential Palace in Kiev can only lead to a prison cell, and he is willing to destroy all of Ukraine to avoid that. And even the fools and charlatans in Western Ukraine are beginning to understand this. Either Ukraine is doomed or Poroshenko is. They will decide to save themselves sooner or later. And the sooner, the better.

Trump's policy seems to be a hands off approach, and let the cards fall where they may. He will let Ukraine be Putin's problem, and deal with it as he sees fit. Putin's policy will continue to be what it has been throughout the conflict - patience and strict adherence to international law. As Sun Tzu wrote in The Art of War, "The greatest warrior is not the one who wins every battle, it is the one who wins without fighting." Putin knows this well, and if Trump is as smart as he thinks he is, he knows it too.

These last few days have been very hard, and there are probably more hard days ahead, but the outcome is no longer in doubt. Donbass will stand, and eventually all of Ukraine will be de-nazified and brought back into the Russian sphere of influence, where it has always been, and where it belongs.

The criminal ambition of Western Neo-cons to rule the world has been defeated. On the battlefields of Donbass and Syria, heroic people stood their ground and turned back the tide of 21st Century fascism. The war will continue, but with the political defeat of Clinton and the military defeat of fascist proxy forces in Syria and Donbass, the outcome is clear. The modern day nazis have been defeated, but not eradicated. They will retreat, regroup, and begin scheming on new ways to achieve their nefarious goal of world domination. What they could not achieve through power politics and military might, they will now try to achieve through deception and guile.

We have reached a turning point in this war, like Stalingrad in World War II, but this war is not over yet, and the enemies of Humanity are already planning for the next one. All good people in the Human Family must maintain their solidarity and their vigilance. Our future depends on it.

2016 Human Aid Final Report

Year End Report of Human Aid by Texas and Суть времени (CB - "Essence of Time")  in Donbass.
Money that was sent for specific projects went 100% to those projects. Money that was sent with no specific target was used on various human aid projects, logistics and to support journalism by Texas and Essence of Time Info Center.

2016 Cash Contributions via Russell Texas Bentley Paypal and Western Union:
Targeted Projects -  $18, 767  44%
Texas -                     $15,148   35%   (20% of Texas' personal income also went towards informal and emergency human aid.)
CB Info Center -       $9,054     21%
Total -                      $42, 969   100%
The money to Texas and CB Info Center went to logistics to deliver human aid (gas, tires, etc) and to support our information work. Texas and CB together produced and posted over 350 videos in 2016, as well as written articles, photo essays, radio and TV appearances. Our work has been translated into English, Russian, Polish, Spanish and Serbian, and our videos and programs have gotten over 3 million views in the last year. That's an average of one new video a day and 8,220 views a day, every day.

Суть времени donated and delivered a $10,000 ventilator to the Ilovaisk Regional Hospital. This piece of vital medical equipment has already been used to save lives, and will continue to do so for years to come. We are also working with our comrades in the Patriotic Forces of Donbass volunteer organization, who have repaired dozens of war-damaged homes, and completely rebuilt 2 homes from the ground up, in the small town of Nikishino. This work continues.
Суть времени instituted a program 2 years ago called "From Kids in Russia to Kids in Donbass". Through this program, we have collected, shipped and delivered 47,466 kilos from 259 different schools and universities in 45 different towns in Russia, and delivered it to schoolkids throughout Donbass, both the DPR and LPR. This averages out to about 1,000 pounds a week, every week for the last 2 years.

Суть времени soldiers continue to defend the Donetsk People's Republic in some of the hottest areas of the front lines. Texas and the Info Center camera crew will continue to visit them there and report back. The military war is ongoing, and the Info War is getting hotter all the time. Human Aid continues to be a vital pillar of support to people in Donbass effected by the war.
On the military, Information and Humanitarian Fronts, Суть времени is out front, on the Front, every day.

Texas and Суть времени will continue to defend and support the people of  Donbass, Russia and the world in the fight against neo-fascism. As our enemies (and your enemies too), the nazi apologists and professional liars of the Ukrainian and Western media  continue to employ ever more propaganda and censorship, the Information War becomes more important and more difficult. But the truth is a powerful weapon, and the truth is still the truth, even in the face of a thousand lies. So it is not a question of whether we will win in the end, we will. But how long it takes is up to you, it is up to every one of us to do their part in this battle for the future of Humanity, this struggle to make a better world for us all. We want to send a heartfelt thanks to all who contributed their time, effort and money to this worthy cause. Your continued support is now more important than ever.

To those who have not yet contributed, now is the time. We need financial support to continue our work, but there are other ways to make real contributions. Sharing and re-posting our information is always a big help, and you can start your own social media group or accounts to help spread the truth. We also need volunteers for video editing, subtitles and translation. Don't just be a spectator in the war for truth and the future of Humanity. Wherever you live, this is your war too. Join us, do your share, and together we can only win.

We begin 2017 with renewed determination and vigor, and the hope that this will be the year that fascism is defeated and we can begin to build a free, just, and multi-polar world based on truth, equality, international law and cooperation, a better world for all.
